Is it ok to cheat on a guy who says he would never commit to you?

Cheating is wrong no matter what… If someone’s unhappy take it upon yourself to leave the relationship there is no reason to be a degenerate as well as lower yourself to that.

I mean, are you guys exclusive? If you're not exclusive then it's not cheating, just communicate properly. If you are exclusive then literally just leave him if you're planning to be with someone else.

Someone not committing to you is not an excuse to betray them. If he doesn't commit to you, hell yeah don't commit to him, but do so by leaving him and moving on with someone who will. Don't sit there wasting your time, hurting both of y'all, and compromising your morals just because he isn't want you wanted.

Also, I read some of the other comments. It sounds like you might be poly? I suggest you look into how poly/ethically non-monogamous relationships work and avoid getting into exclusive relationships if you aren't going to be comfortable with them in the long term.

Then you haven’t found the right person. The only way you’d feel stuck is if the relationship becomes boring. Cheating usually means you’re looking for something emotionally or physically that your partner isn’t giving whether they know it or not.

So why don’t I fantasize about other men then? Why am I perfectly content? Of course you can’t have everything in one man, but why do you need everything period? Why not just focus on the things you want most and give him the chance to make those things happen? Before I was married I may have shared your mindset but it wasn’t until I met this guy that I had the sincere feeling of not wanting any other man. Have I found someone attractive? For sure, I’m human with eyes and I can say that someone looks good. But I don’t immediately draw comparisons between what he has to offer vs what I’m not getting, but then again my wants are simple.

I personally don’t agree with the idea that he’ll never commit or marry so you should cheat. It doesn’t make sense, that’s not a relationship at all if there’s no commitment, just a situationship at that point. Tell me what would qualify that as a relationship vs a transactional agreement of some sort?
