Well, it might be worth ATTEMPTING. But is it worth continuing long term?
Wouldn't you want to meet and enjoy each other's company? Have fun together that didn't involve Zoom?
And if you want to be serious about each other, won't it be exhausting to keep flying or driving long distances to do so?
I experienced this with my husband who was in the Navy. We were hundreds of miles apart and had been married 6 years. I was tired of living like that. And I was barely 30 years old. I spent alternate weekends driving from Beaumont, Texas to Gautier, Miss. I was tired when I got there and tired after I got back. Ended up being depressing.
So, my experience with it tells me, "Not in the long run."
Depending on the two people involved it could be.
But there are downsides to it that most people can't get past. Usually the majority of long distance relationships one of them cheats.. If you doubt the persons loyalty even slightly, don't bother to try it because yeah most likely that person will cheat. Long distance only works with loyal and seriously in love people.
Wondering the same thing myself. I mean, I am still going back and forth every couple of weeks, so does that count as ldr?
Nope. LDR's are for people who don't really want to be in a relationship but make like they are.

No. It's a pita and most of the time the guy's blowing smoke up the gal's a$$ while dating (and sleeping with) a ton of other women.
No it’s a waste of time.
