I think women are trained to not initiate. It’s a form of power play. Forcing the guy to show intent and effort. It gives women that high of feeling valued they crave.

And let’s face it. It’s a self serving tactic in the sense they never have to put themselves out there and risk rejection.

What women don’t realize is that with some guys, me for instance, we want to see the same intent and commitment. The moment I feel she’s just enjoying the ride and letting me do all the work, I’ll disappear without even confronting her.

There will be no discussion. You’ve shown me what you’re like. I comprehend. We’re done.

If a man is showing interest in a woman and isn’t getting any in return. She either isn’t interested or is one sided. Either way it’s better to cut your losses and move on.

People (women included) generally will initiate plans with someone they are attracted to. As well as when you initiate plans follow up. A lot of people simply don’t want to see that someone’s either not into them, is playing games, or is one sided. So they just make up reasons in their head

This has to be according to the age of the woman AND her personality. I always have a few ideas of what I'd like to do with someone: things I'd think are interesting and that I haven't done and that I'd like to share.

Everyone isn't like that-- male or female. If you want a woman who likes to offer suggestions, FIND one! Everyone needs a rest from being the sole planner!

I dont know about most women but it was as if I was taught to be passive which suited me from the beginning as I was shy but after a while my shyness and passive ways were only a memory. I find it easy to initiative plans, be active, I just got to warm up first.

Women who are really serious about a guy and have a true interest or attraction will most definitely initiate plans with him. I remember dating a girl once who was so interested that she would initiate almost all our plans and asked if I was cool with doing those things.

Women who are just casually looking to date or have a little school girl crush and curiosity about a guy, will not.

False. Most women like being in control. While dating after my divorce, many of the women made plans for some of the dates, while I made plans for some. Now that I'm married, my wife makes almost all of the plans for us.

I won't initiate plans but I drop subtle hints through conversations that I would be interested in him making plans. If he brings up a restaurant or something, I'll smile and say something like, "is the food good? I've ALWAYS wanted to eat there".

This is true unless of course the woman wants to go someplace expensive, in which case she will make those plans in a subtle kind of way. Other than that women are like children and they want to be led and taken care of and fed and most of all paid for.

Not true for me.

If I’m genuinely interested, I’ll initiate plans and make the effort.

But if I’m unsure or not feeling it, I’ll naturally hold back.

It’s less about gender and more about interest and comfort.
