For context, she's from China and we both live in South Korea now. She's 35 and I'm 30 years old. We went on two dates and it went well. On the second date, I learned from her close friend that she had brought over to the bar (which was the second part of our second date. We had dinner one-on-one beforehand and she had asked me if it was okay for her close friend to come to the bar with us, which I was okay with). Her friend told me, while my date was in the bathroom, about how my date viewed me, which was all good things.
She told me my date said I was "sweet, a gentleman, and handsome". This gave me hope that things were going well, and things were definitely going well with our text conversations. That is, until she went to the hospital. The night before, she was hanging out with her friends, and she seemed interested in doing an arts and craft activity with me. But the next day, she sent me a pic of her at the hospital getting an IV drop because she caught a cold (which is common in South Korea to do). She then said she would contact me later.
The next day, I didn't hear anything from her, so I texted her to see if she was okay. She sent me a pic again of her in another hospital room with an IV drop, saying that she's still sick and that she would contact me the following week. So I wished her well and she hearted my text. Ever since she got out of the hospital, she's been non-responsive despite the fact that she's been hanging out with friends doing outside sports activities and going to the gym. She left me on read once when I asked her what her plans were.
Then a second time when I asked her out (since we had talked about our third date BEFORE she got sick). It's been a couple of days since I sent that text, but she recently posted on Instagram of her going back to the gym again and she still sees my stories. Should I move on and forget about her? Or should I give her space and realize that maybe she's behaving this way because she's recovering?
