After a painful breakup, is getting married just too risky now?

When I got dumped by my ex I was shocked as we were so compatible and I was good to her.

But suddenly the emotional tide changed in her head. Her feelings turned to resistance. Seeing a person change like that when you were open emotionally to her, and let her in is sooo painful.

Like girl’s feelings are just uncontrollable and change like the wind.

It is true women decide emotionally rather than rationally as men mostly do. The other aspect is that whilst men will think my wife/girlfriend has runs on the board as being a good wife/girlfriend and that goodness is bankable to us.

Women look to what else we can do for them. It doesn't matter we took them on a big international holiday last year. What we have done is not bankable to them. It is what you will do for them is what is important and what is in the past is in the past.

Then there is the group think. Which means if their girl friends think a boyfriend is cringe and to hook up in the 20's is the best life then she will fall into that way of thinking. So pay attention to your girlfriend's girlfriends way of thinking.

So all you have done means nothing, only what you can do in the future counts. The girl friends propaganda counts a lot. And she will probably make an emotional decision based on that.

It is not in your age bracket yet, but in the late 30s and 40s women will realize their attractiveness is fading and soon they will be invisible to men. Then they start thinking their husband has stolen their youth and fun of being desired by men. So they destroy their family on the emotional decision they need to be free to re-experience their 20s before it is too late.

You are unlikely to remain married for longer than 8 to 10 years. In the best case. At this point you will make a bad selection of partner because of what happened with your ex.

determination to stick together during rough times matters more than compatibility. No matter how compatible you are, you will get into fights and disagreements with each other. You can't just leave upon every argument or disagreement.
