If you're in a heterosexual relationship, who kissed who first and when was that?

Question

For those of you in a heterosexual male-female relationship, who kissed who first? And when was that?

I kissed my wife at the end of our first date, to let her know I really liked her and wanted a second date. She later told me I was a bit overly aggressive with the kiss, but she married me anyway.

My future wife kissed me after our first date.

We met a restaurant. Our conversation flowed and time disappeared. When I felt something bumping my foot, I realized that a waiter was vacuuming under out table and the restaurant was empty.
So I walked my wife out to the parking lot in back where our cars were parked.
We continued chatting for a while.
When we were ready to leave, we realized that the gate had been locked. So I hopped over the 6" cinder block wall and got someone from the restaurant to let us out.

When I said good bye to my date, she stepped forward, looked admiringly into my eyes, put her hands on top of my shoulders, and gave me a tender, lingering kiss while pressing her body against mine.

I didn't find out until later that the way she related the story to her friends was that I was like Superman who had leapt a tall building in a single bound to rescue her from a terrible fate. I was her hero. 😂

The bona fide true story of Ms. Helen and me:

December, 2020, about a week before Christmas. First date, went very well. Dinner date. Good conversation, both of us paying attention, no checking cell phones, lots of eye contact. I thought she would want a goodnight kiss or at least hold hands. I walked her to her car, she jumped in and headed for the highway, and I'm just watching her tail lights disappear, wondering. . . what in the hell just happened?

Thought maybe I had misjudged the date but called her to ask for a second date. No harm in asking, right? She agrees and meets me at a different restaurant. Another very good date. I walk her to her car and she quickly jumps in the driver's seat again.

Not gonna have a repeat of the first date, so I opened her car door, leaned in and quietly said, "You forgot something," and then I kissed her on the lips.

We were married on April 27, 2024.

It's the guy's prerogative to initiate and the girl's to accept or reject (setting the pace of the advances). For example, a guy might want to "steal a kiss" on the first date, but it's not really appropriate for a gal to give in so quickly to a guy. Take a bit of time to accept the guy's advances... NOT being COLD, but not being TOO EASY.

Not in any relationship at the moment but women almost always go in for the kiss with me before I ever take action. I flirt like hell but stop short of physical contact. I think that frustrates the hell out of women. They eventually, most times, will resort to trying to kiss me out of sheer anticipation turning into anxiety. I may or may not do that purposely.

The 1st time was at a co-workers house party. A female co-worker, while we were out in the kitchen "freshening our drinks", decided to push me up against the fridge and lay a french kiss on me (1-26-1979).
