Polls: Dating

Okay so I would like to say that it depends on the guy. We can say not all men are conceited BUT almost every guy I’ve spoken to, talks highly about themselves. Family, friends every relationship you can think of, I’ve encountered these guys. My gamer friend is so conceited it irritates me I just try not to stroke his ego any more. He always talks about women hitting on him, how he excels in things and rarely ever talks negatively about himself. He always has to be right and something about a man and this personality trait makes me want to jump off a ledge. Sometimes I want a relationship but knowing that the man will likely show these tendencies makes me just think it’s better off to be alone, I would probably call quits real quick lol

I have no desire to date, but I'm kinda pushing 30 now, so I'm wondering if it's time to start dating. 🤔

I’ve been seeing someone for a few weeks now and I’ve been enjoying my time with him. We live about an hour away from each other but he makes the drive to me on the weekends when we’re free so we can hang out. We’ve gotten really comfortable with each other (maybe too comfortable, he’s popped a zit on my face) but he has a toothbrush for me at his place.

My biggest issue/pet peeve is communication when we don’t see each other. I have really bad anxiety and when it’s complete silence for days, I always assume the worst and that it’s my fault or I somehow messed things up. We’re both young and he works a ton of odd jobs to make ends meet for himself. Which I understand is rough, he’s completely independent saving up money for law school tuition, rent, food, etc. He had a personal matter that didn’t allow him to work for some time so he’s been trying to catch up on that.

I brought up the communication before when it was radio silence for a few days and told him I assumed he wasn’t interested anymore, and he explained his personal situation. I understand. But the last time we saw each other, I jokingly asked if he’s going to go ghost again. He told me that because he wasn’t able to work for that while, he has a lot to make up in the coming week to make up for all that money he lost. Which means there probably won’t be time for our usual phone calls (they’re long and the nature of his jobs don’t allow him to get on the phone and I completely understand why).

It’s been about a week and I haven’t heard a word. I know he’s fine, he shared a post on his Facebook. I was upset because a simple text would have taken that same amount of time. At the same time, I’ve also been in situations where I don’t talk to people but I’ll be active on my social media.

Guys, because he warned me in advance that it would be a busy week or more trying to make up for all the money he lost, is that a legit excuse to be silent for so long?

I have a Persian (Iranian) nose and I'm insecure about it, it's too big for my face and it's really droopy especially when I smile, I got bullied about it a lot in middle school. Kids would make fun of my nose or just straight up call me ugly or say that I had a really big nose. Now, I always try to smile weaker so my nose doesn't droop down, people say I look "cute", especially my family, but I'm not sure I mean it. I really want to get a nose job when I'm older, but I just want to know if they would date a girl with a nose like mine.

P. S., if you didn't know this, Iran is the number one country with the biggest amount of Nose Jobs. So pretty much all Iranians have big noses like mine, some are lucky enough to have absolutely beautiful noses.
