It depends on how well they do in school. I wished I was homeschooled, I would have performed better. All I dealt with was bullying, threats to be killed, assaulted, sexually harassed and the adults did NOTHING to defend me. You can always socialize with people if you make time to do that outside of your studies. If people taught students better how to treat others and hold them accountable and actually CARE about their students, EVERYBODY would have a good educational experience and live healthier lives. It all begins at home AND school. One of my close friends was homeschooled for a year or two, it helped her greatly after all of the anxiety and bullying. Some people need a break from the toxic school system and out of control kids. Who the hell in their right mind is happy with crazy kids, kids beating up others and adults, harassing you, etc, and even the people who are SUPPOSED to protect you do NOTHING? I went to the school of elementary, middle school and my first high school of that garbage. My last school year was amazing. The funny part was that they dissed that school and say bad kids go there, and most of those 'bad kids' were the most CIVILIZED schools I have EVER been in. Nobody stole your backpack if you left it alone. NOBODY started a fight. EVERYBODY knew EVERYBODY. And the teachers and principals INVESTED in YOU. Everybody got attention and well all helped each other. Bigger schools have so many problems.

It depends on the child. I wanted to be home schooled so bad, but my mom feared I would become antisocial if I didn't go to school.
The ironic thing is now I have social anxiety. So going to school kinda just made it worse. Instead of being able to focus on schoolwork and paying attention I was self conscious and in a terrible place. My anxiety is a lot better now, but people need to realize that going to school doesn't socialize you, sometimes it just makes you hate people.

Public schools are so much better than home-schooling.
My experiences with home schooled kids have always been the same.
Are they dumb? No. They're usually decent in your normal school subjects, but I find they're often indoctrinated in false beliefs, which, they are usually piss poor at defending because they've never been confronted before.
Timid and unable to socialise well, usually with extreme difficulties resolving conflict or even mild disputes.
I just don't think home schooled kids are nearly as well equipped for the real world as publicly schooled kids.No because kids need to learn social skills as well. Don’t keep them locked away in home. Send them to private school if you don’t like public school
One thing regular school teaches that home schooling can’t is social interaction
The social setting of school is beyond important.
I have been in both and I preferred school
