Which branch do you think has the easiest basic training and why?
Also, list the branches you think are easiest to hardest to pass their basic training!
We shall see what happens in "the Space Force" if it ever happens, but the original astronauts were almost all (and even today, most of them still are) USAF or US Navy military test pilots, and officers already. "Ground Control to Major Tom" was not just a nifty David Bowie lyric, it reflected who and what rank a typical astronaut was.
I would probably say the National Guard, since it is a quick return to civilian life after it. (Veterans, fill us in here)

Probably the space for or national defense. Depending on the job, you may not need much military training physically but active service could help.
So... national guard you still go through the same basic training as whatever branch you chose.
I voted Air Force because I had a blast.
