Back when I was younger I was going to join the marine corp but with my father overseas in a dangerous part of the world, my cousin in Afghanistan my mother couldn't bear to see her only son go to war along with my father and someone had to stay and keep the family together. So I decided to choose family over service, something I do regret sometimes.
I served 6 years in the Air Force.
I would recommend the air force, navy and coast guard without a doubt. Marines if you can take it physically.
I don't recommend the army, infantry, or any MP/SecFo positions. Get a skill from the military don't waste your time.
Also never join the reserves, join the guard instead in a state with tuition benefits. It's literally the same shit except ones solely federal and ones state and federal.
Choosing an army branch requires careful consideration of your skills and interests. Personally, if I were to join, I might consider the Navy due to its global reach and diverse opportunities for leadership and technical roles. The Navy's emphasis on education and training aligns well with my passion for continuous learning and skill development. However, it's important for each individual to assess their strengths and goals to determine the best fit for them personally.

I’d work on making the equipment or training others do it…. Can’t imagine being on the ground, let alone flying a plane / operating a drone or even traveling on a ship.
*edit Our brave troops that carry these out everyday for their love of country & keep their families safe is a great service that should be respected & appreciated always. Freedom don’t come cheap and these brave heroes keep us free, God Bless ‘em! God Bless America! (felt I had to include that since it is worth a reminder to everyone)
I would have picked the Air Force but I already tried that and could not pass the eye test.
Already done that, infantry, Army.
This time I understand there is no good side. A big fat 0
My dad and older brother are both Navy SEALS, so my choice would also be Navy, but I'd choose a different path. I'm a Pilot, and I think it would be incredibly awesome to fly jets off an Aircraft Carrier,, so Naval Aviator for me.
.
Well I'd join the Marines they're the hardest, and with my asvap scores I'd look for an Intel job
FYI the Army is a branch of the Armed services.
So for example if you join the army you can not be in the navy at the same time
Air force. Your chances of death are more slim
Army, 112th Infantry Battalion in Regen, Bavaria.
Gott zum Gruße, Kamerad! 🫡
I'm retired Air Force, and I have no regrets about the choice I made.
I wouldn't choose. I'd dodge the draft by whatever means necessary.
So a local resistance? Good

Ground forces. I love tanks

Which ever branch has the most muscular guys. They tend to be nicer than normal guys.
