Yes, but I would taken business classes instead of engineering; exchanging my Master of Engineering degree for a Master of Business Administration.
No one ever sees the McDonald's corporate employees working in their offices; people only see kids flipping burgers on a hot grill. McDonald's managers make decent coin, and regional managers pull in six figure salaries. The higher ups, and those who run the company, have fat salaries and get perks like bonuses and stock options. Keep in mind that McDonalds is a multinational company, so if you desired, you could work anywhere in the world; and at a salary that by local standards might make you seem wealthy.
My goals were different, so I didn't go in that direction.

Would certainly change what fields I consider.
There are the "good for getting a job" fields.
There are also the "provides actual useful knowledge" fields. They are not the same.
I did finance.
Finance is good for getting a job.
The useful knowledge could have been condensed into 3 months instead of 5 years. I can mathematically tell you what window is superior for what merchandise. But so can anyone with a tad of common sense.
I clicked the wrong one. I still would go to college. I tried working at McDonald's, they didn't want to hire me. Said I had no experience or a college degree. So no. I wouldn't work at Mcdonald's. But even if I didn't really get anything after college, I am still happy I went to college. I get more job opportunities as a student than I did not being one. Strange. It's just got more competitive that even a degree can be useless if you didn't get into the career you wanted.
It can be a temporary job till you find something better

If I knew with 100% certainty that I'd wind up at the same place, no, I probably wouldn't. Absolutely no reason to bury yourself in debt that you'd never be able to pay back. However, for most people, if you go to college, you do so with the intention of not working at anything other than what you went to college to do. Doesn't always work out that way, but that's the intention.
Absofuckinglutely! When it comes to college it’s a wonderful thing & nowadays when some people get out of college it’s hard to find a job in their field & if they happen to work at McDonald’s that’s ok because at least they have a job.
No, I would DEFINITELY not waste all that time and money going to college, knowing I would just be going to McDonalds. I would save myself from the debt that college would cause.
Fast food is the ultimate nightmare. I pray to never have to work that job. Its worse than retail. I went to college to avoid Mickey D’s
Well personally yes but I can understand why many people wouldn’t. College was a fun time for me at a personal level. It wasn’t just about the education I received.
First I have a job that pays more than mcdonalds and its a warehouse job. So if i quit and go to college and it failed i shall go back to that warehouse job
Given the cost of a university education, no, McDonald's is not known to require a degree not allow me to easily pay the cost of one.
I wouldn't work at McDonald's with my degree, impossible.
