Student obsessively emailing me?

I’m a TA and I grade papers, but a student keeps emailing me and it is not my job to answer certain questions, or tutor people. Why isn’t this student going to the professor? I just started ignoring the emails.

Inform them of that.
Let them know they'd have to direct those questions at the teacher instead of just ignoring them.

No, I think I’ll do that.

It just doesn't seem out-of-bounds, from my perspective, to have an honest discussion, as maybe the student isn't even aware, and, in any case, my personal belief is, unless something has been made explicit, another can't be blamed for not being psychic.
