Should cops be stationed in schools?

I have to vote B.
My high school had a security officer. Because I ended up fitting the stereotype for a school shooter after Columbine and so did some other kids in the school. We listened to heavy metal, played video games and such. So that meant we where a threat to the school. Every time I think about it I laugh. Because the guy ended up spending more time dealing with the bullies and want to be gangsters trying to start crap with myself, my friends and pretty much everyone else. But myself and my friends where the entire reason he was there. Because we where such a serious threat to everyone else.
Hell he ended up liking my friends and I more then a lot of the other students. Because we where not the ones starting crap and if I ended up beating up another kid it was because they where starting crap with me or someone else.
How is that gonna work? Having thousands of police officers waste their time standing around and doing absolutely nothing all day does not sound like a great idea. They will be much more needed elsewhere.
My high school had a couple officers from the local PD there back in 2006. Had one kid bring a gun to school and it was handled quickly and quietly. No one really knew what happened. Otherwise never had a problem.

Well banning guns is impossible so instead of throwing up our hands like we can’t do anything, maybe we should do the bare minimum to protect our kids.
Nah can’t see why a school would need police presence.
School resource officers as they are called, are a great idea.
I would rather have marines.
No the fuck you wouldn't. Trust me.
