Scientists usually don’t work in hospitals.
Although I checked and there is such a hospital in the city she mentioned.
Yeah, that sounds catfishy to me. I googled it, and that is a legit job title, but I've known tons of legit med students, and none of them ever referred to themselves as "scientists". Also, I've never seen a med student/graduate talk like that. They have way better grammar, and don't use run on sentences. "will be extending for my 3rd contract soon." Who the hell talks like that? I don't trust her. Medical field is the most common field used by catfishes.
But also, why are you posting her name and picture on a public forum?
This sounds 100% legitimate.
There are a lot of scientists involved in medical fields, like for testing blood samples, or diagnostics, ... even though the hospital i worked at usually send most of the stuff to an external lab.
Yea she's probably the one who does the drug tests and screening. The phlebotomists just take the blood I think. She has a higher degree.

Yo, she's telling you the truth. You're spazzing. Relax. Yes, everything she said is absolutely legitimate. Not only that, but she actually WANTS to meet up with you! Don't shoot yourself in the foot, my man.
Everything is fine. 👍👌
It could be legitimate. There are scientists in hospitals and some of them do grant/contract funded research.
