Lol you’re so funny. But omg i was soooo pissed last night! So the Flash finale was on and the tv channel cut out after the first 15 mins aired. Now i have to wait til sometime today to watch it on the CW app
I do get the 4th off but I'd still be called in to go to work so I'd be getting holiday pay and the hours I would work that day would go towards overtime. But the scale guys who weigh the semi's refuse to work that day so I luckily get at least one day off this week.
Now if we have a good rye harvest next year which we didn't this year then I'd wouldn't be getting off of work till probably 8-10pm. And I'd most likely be working 6-7 days a week but I'd be making over a around 1,500$ a week doing that to so it might be work it for that kind of paycheck.

Pretty much never happens but I did have an epic one a couple months back. Had not gotten any sleep cause my youngest son was sick, I guess I was so exhausted that I fell asleep sitting up on the couch. Woke up with 10 min to go get my oldest son from school. Only I was supposed to have also been taking care of my youngest who's 4 and the very definition of mischief. Luckily he was sick so the damage was minimal but he did manage to take my keys from my pocket and hide them while I was asleep. So now I'm in a full on panic tearing the house apart looking for my damn car keys... Long story short I ended up 15 min late. I did call the school but since my son was in kindergarten I'm automatically a piece of shit and my son legit thought I forgot him. 😒 . That'll come up in therapy one day
Just like last week? I think? I said, "I'm so funkin' tired..." so instead of going on my laptop for online school, I have the app installed on my phone so I log into app... make sure I hear my teacher... make it loud as possible... and listen to him like a positive and soft spokesperson with my eyes closed.
I don't take off my alarm so don't don't to set.. I have various alarms set.. I did sleep through an alarm for something else, opening the door for someone coming to my home lol... But not for work or school.
When you wake early, your body's natural clock... can't you go back to sleep until the alarm wakes you?

Well i had a Final chemistry practical exam in college. It was scheduled to be on Saturday. And usually its an off on Saturday. So my alarm usually works Monday to Friday. And i just woke up to see the time and felt like i overslept and was thinking why did the alarm didn't go off. And i see its 7:50. I was to report at 8:00. Well i got on time. But thats another story how i got on time. But F*ck that was the first and last time i have been that late.
I think a few months ago I technically overslept, but I made it to my first meeting in time, so I was safe. At my previous job I would just show up at lunch every day, lol. At some point I was so consistent and nonchalant about it that people thought I had it being allowed in my contract.
I would literally walk in at lunch, say hello to my colleagues, put my backpack down and go "So, where are we going for lunch?" Not an ounce of shame 😁
Some time ago. Worst one was when I forgot to set alarm. Woke up after I was supposed to ha started for the day, and still had my hour and half commute to make. Ended up being more than 2 hours late
I think the last time was when I wanted to get up at a certain time to prepare for an interview if I remember correctly. I forgot to set my alarm on my phone.
It's ok if you look like a mess. The people on the phone can't see you. I overslept on Tuesday because I was up until 4:30 am on Monday trying to nail a criminal who's been breaking into cars in my neighborhood. It was a rough day for me on Tuesday.
I think it was last February or March when I slept through my alarm and I almost missed the school bus in fact I was in such a deep sleep my mom actually had to come into my room and wake me up herself
