Um, evolution doesn't have "levels"; it has survival and death. Humans not only survived things that would've (and, indeed, DID) kill off pretty much any other lifeform; we spread out and took over the whole frigging planet. Evolution is about being fit for your biological niche. The main "gimmick" of mammals is their adaptability; we can make changes and survive in a HUGE range of environments and circumstances compared to reptiles or even birds. The big trick of primates is adaptability, even among mammals, and humans, even among primates.
Unless you're going to claim that our intelligence allows us to manipulate our environment to a degree that we've eliminated every threat, how are we unfit for our environment? Every challenge we find, we work around or push through.

Not only are we at the lowest level of evolution, we are de facto regressing. This is not a bad thing for the planet because once humanity has vanished from the Earth, it will have about 1 billion years to undo what we have done to it before it will disappear for good.
Once the sun enters its red giant phase, it will expand and engulf the earth, destroying it and burning everything to a crisp. According to NASA specialists, this should take place around the year 1,000,002,021.

Evolution is a farce and not how man came into being. Zeus, as a man-made god is real but has no authority in the workings of the world. Humans are the pinnacle of creation by God.
