What could I possibly be doing wrong during interviews?

I got this really amazing opportunity to interview for a position at the hospital in pediatrics. I have years of experience and I work really well with children. There were 2 positions available and I was certain I'd get it. I had a phone interview with a recruiter, zoom interview with the managers, and a job shadow. I felt welcomed and at home. I tried to ask as many questions as possible and stay out of the way of patients. it's been over a week and the last time I was there I was told other candidates were still being interviewed by the recruiter and that we'd go from there. I've heard nothing and this opportunity could have helped me tremendously. both financially and career wise.

I want to still hold on and be positive but at this point they would have at least called or touched base right? I applied before for a different area and things seemed well but after the recruiter told me the manager decided not to go with me even though she lied and made it seem like she was.
