I would say yes by the second half. Most of the school knew me, far more than I knew back. Somewhere between famous and infamous. My popularity was boosted when my brother moved to town. He caught the attention of half the school, and I caught the attention of the other half. So people knew me as the sister of this popular party guy when they didn't already know me for my own behavior.

I was friends with the popular kids, but I was not the cause of the popularity.

My class was a bit different though. We had the groups and there was obvious differences in popularity, but that really didn't mean anything at my school. People in the popular groups had no issues taking with our including anyone from any other group.

I appreciated that quality of my class.

So-so. I played varsity baseball, and while I could hang with the jocks, I was more of a math and science geek.

Starting in my freshman year I was entirely focused on gaining an appointment to the US Naval Academy. Virtually every minute of my time was occupied by working to achieve that goal, while leaving no time for socializing with my fellow students.

No; at least, I don't think so. I was the target of a TON of weirdly specific bullying, but there was also a fair number of people who liked me. I'm not sure if that was because a bunch of people knew and liked me, so others felt the need to knock me down a peg, or what.

but popular in that teen movie sense in which you're the center of all the attention and school life revolves around you, no way lmao...

I had my own smaller circles to be with most of the time... and only from time to time, I would frequent others

Somewhere in the middle. Kinda fit in to any crowd but I didn't really like the popular group. A lot of them were super arrogant and full of themselves and I didn't fw that energy

I was cool but not in the preppy cheer leader or jock way more like everyone thought I was so gangster so I was among "the hood" crowd but everyone from every click wanted to be cool with me & people knew not to fuck with me lol and the chick's that like bad boys loved me.

Infamous is more accurate I hated school I always skipped and when I did go I tried to keep a very low profile but still got in trouble for the most random stuff because I’m very unlucky like when I broke the ROTC teachers windshield with a composition book
