Should I act gray rock at work all the time?

I have only had a few jobs in my life and it seems like if i dont act gray rock then idiots and asshole coworkers and bosses will harass me and rape my mental peace as much as they can.

That sounds incredibly frustrating. I suppose you can gray rock unless you know that the work culture you have is healthy and supportive and doesn’t enable harassment.


Where I work, there’s a zero tolerance policy for that sort of behavior. They even make everyone take an anti-harassment course and have everyone report harassment if they ever experience it.


I hope you can find a better work environment. In the meantime, acting gray rock may be best.
