Should I take an on call job or wait for my ideal job?

With my degrees, I could get paid a certain amount if I were in a role that required those degrees. How many months should I wait for a job like that before an on-call administrative position sounds appealing, where I might be making slightly less, and I wouldn't know how many hours I'd work on average. One advantage is that even when not working, I'd still have access to medical benefits. Can you have another job when you have a job like that?

If you really need a job take it. No guck that’s you can find a full-time job that’s better than on-calll. Besides I’ve had some friends who said they hated it cause they couldn’t do much knowing that they could be called up whenever. So sitting around waiting all for nothing.

If you're not working right now, take the first thing that comes up. Don't stop applying for jobs until you get the " ideal job ". It's better to be making something rather than making nothing

If you can afford to wait for your ideal Job, then maybe do that or like take the job just for a certain time, until your ideal job is available to you... in the end, you should do what's best for you

It depends on how much money you need and if you can handle it, So if you need the Money and you can handle it then go for it but if you can't handle it then you might try waiting if you don't need the Money.

Personally, I'd take the on call one but still look. That way some money is still coming in and I can still look for the ideal job.
