Thank you! This is a great question. Well first of all you try a wide variety of new things to see what feels good and what you're good at and what doesn't feel so good or what you're really bad at.
This will take some time but sampling the available options is a really good strategy.
Secondly, I suggest that you read about various things, maybe even before you try them to see if they're written. description resonates with you it sounds interesting and like something you might want to try.
Thirdly, I suggest that you talk to people who actually do things that you might be interested in. When I was much younger, I did this and I found that people were always willing and eager to talk about their work and to describe it to me and show it to me.
This went a long way towards helping me decide what career I was interested in and I subsequently spent many years learning it and I've now spent a considerable amount of time practicing it. I think familiarizing yourself with things you want to do rather than acting impulsively is a good idea. I hope these ideas of mine have been helpful to you.
Enjoy all that you do,
then do what you enjoy the most.
