Why do people like old school hip hop and old school r&b music?

I like old school hip hop, but not really into the R&B. I like it because I love the flows, I like a lot of the content, the way the artists spoke about life, a lot of positive energy and vibes. To me, hip hop culture, especially the old school, is about education and community, telling stories that connect people and inspire them.

People like old rock, hip hop, rap, r&b, classical music because when those genres initially came put people made music because they are passionate about it.

The majority of musicians just make music for money. Back when a new genre of music came out no one knew they were going to make money off of it. They put a lot more heart soul into their music because of passionate.

Nowadays every song sounds like the same thing. Everyone looked at vincent van gogh like he was nut job, but his art work is still popular till this day because he was actually talent and was passionate about his work.

If look architecture we used to make beautiful buildings and churches and now every is the same glass building. It's just the people of past actually put effort into their work.
