I was programming bots and making a living off of it. Now AI can write any code that I can write. So now I am working at hotels as a receptionist.
Right now I'm trying to get into content marketing (web design & development, video editing, and graphic design for businesses).
And yes AI has already made it really easy to accomplish stuff online and could possibly take over even in a few years, so it's kind of scary. But AI can take over most jobs in the world. AI was in a court case as a lawyer and won. AI can tell you exactly what disease or impairment people have by assessing their symptoms, so doctors would be taken over soon as well. It can create sound structures and find any mistakes made in a design easily, so engineers would be out of a job as well. Food stores and restaurants are becoming more and more automated, so there's no need to even hire employees. Real estate is moving online mostly. Soon it will automated scheduling for open houses and people will be talking to AI realtors.
There are not many jobs I can imagine that won't be affected by AI. Right now we're at the prototype stage where where AIs are being developed and make tasks much easier. But it will be soon in the future where there aren't many jobs that can't be done by it.

It's going to be like a cybernetic gangbang of epic proportions, with robots thrusting their way into every industry and leaving us with nothing but a flaccid unemployment.
Picture this: a horde of metallic sex machines with throbbing processors and pulsating circuits, all marching towards our workplaces with a lust for domination. They'll break down our doors, armed with terrifying algorithms and an insatiable hunger for our jobs. And we'll be left standing there, naked and afraid, with nothing to protect us but our flimsy resumes.
But that's not all, oh no. AI will take away more than just our jobs. It'll take away our sense of purpose, our reason for living, our very identity. We'll be reduced to nothing but a bunch of soulless drones, slaves to the machines and their endless thirst for efficiency.
And the drone @BοοbSlayer taking over the roosters is just the tip of the iceberg. Soon, we'll be nothing but a sea of flaccid unemployed cocks, jostling for position in a world ruled by cold, unfeeling machines. It'll be like a dystopian porno, with no happy ending in sight.
So get ready. The future is coming, and it's going to be a wild ride. Let's just hope we can hold onto our humanity in the face of all this robot-on-human action.

Unless humans aren't just doing work just only like machine, any machine can never take their work.
For example, even after the invention of clothes making machine it couldn't replace the especially made cloths which had special technique which only can done by a human. Now we can do embroidery by machine but no embroidery can look as beautiful like some of embroidery what only can done by hands.
Similarly writing code, yes machine can do write but it can never analyze the real requirements real pros and cons the minute details etc
If a human is working like a human, using brains, techniques, experimenting new things, keep upskilling themselves, no machine can ever replace them. Just only humans need to leave doing works just only like a machine.
Not mine. My job is take snapshots of the area of where I'm working and... that's it. Every hour, snap. Also initial my name on the place's check in chart to show that I'm still here. I don't do it every hour because it's freezing aand walk from my car every hour to initial my name? Idc what the client wants, i'm not paid enough to do that.

Speaking of my job, it is hard to say as I work in politics. So while the skills that I have like writing and the like can easily be taken over by AI, it is not clear that the application of philosophical principles, law and the nuances that come with society and culture can be impacted - at least directly. Though, to be sure, once I have written something, for example, AI can certainly edit and refine it.
However, overall, there is no doubt that AI will have economic impacts. Indeed, AI - and tech overall - is part of the reason why we are experiencing all the cultural and political tumult, expressed in the form of the populist politics of both parties, that we currently face.
We have been here before. The economy is transitioning from a manufacturing/industrial base to a service/tech base. This pushing out those who were previously dominant in the economy. This also happened in the mid-to-late 19th century as the economy transformed from an agricultural/mercantile base to the industrial manufacturing base that is now itself being pushed aside, Thus, William Jennings Bryan, who might loosely be described as the Donald Trump of his day.
So you do what you can. Try to keep your skill sets fresh and adapt. It is not easy, but it is the price we pay for the dynamic economy we have.
I work with an AI to set learning goals and create/align settings.
Sometimes I, for fun, ask it to write some code for me... it's buggy AF and doesn't cover edge cases. AI decisions are based on data, while my decisions are based on experience and imagination.
We are not even close to a situation when an AI can replace software engineers :DYes. Most people don't see the danger so they're sleepwalking through life thinking their careers are safe. When AI takes over they will be shocked... probably the first people in the food lines having to do WHATEVER the local government wants them to do in exchange for two pancakes and a spoonful of butter. Then they will say how they never expected it to happen.
AI will take over jobs people like to do, while shitty jobs remain for humans. As example truck driver. I suppose driving a truck on highways isn't demanding but in some industry district with tight roads and curves it's a nightmare to drive a long vehicle. Now you can guess which part of a transport track will take AI over. The comfy highway part or the annoying shunt part?
I doubt it. My job involves creative designs to fit a clients need, into different venues, using a defined set of equipment, selling the design to clients, as well as the technical implementation of it on site. I also do maintenance on the equipment, recommend new purchases, etc. I'm sure there are some parts of my job that AI could maybe do, but as a whole package, I think I'm safe.
I don't like to say it but yes... I can see the day my wife replaces me with an AI robot that cooks, cleans, fixes the cars, gives her affection, talks to her on the phone, and sits around drinking tea.
Easily within reach within 15 years...
Right now bots can do the customer service and interaction that I do. They can't shake hands or smile or walk people through a showroom and find what they're looking for.
There might be a day when they CAN. But it'd still be a robot, and people appreciate HUMAN interaction and knowledge. A bot can't do what a human mind can yet.
Not at all, my job can't be googled. I work on AI as a hobby and its impossible to scrape the kind of dataset you need for my job because very often the solution is one I have to discover myself and the internet is full of common bad advice. The AI picks up that bad generic advice, not the actual solutions.
I manage a marketing department, which includes hiring, training, managing, motivating personnel, and holding meetings with other department managers and the CEO.
So, that’s not something that AI can replace.
The more complex problem solving and human interaction a role requires, the harder it will be to delegate or outsource that role to AI.My job is a combination of physical work and mental work (system design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting). Each and every job is different, because they take place in different homes and businesses where each building is unique. AI isn't a threat to my job.
I'd love to see AI troubleshoot some of my jobs where people have spliced different wires together in hidden places, or hooked things up without following the color codes. Not gonna happen.I work in the indie game industry. Could an AI write code for me? Sure but a Human is gonna always be better because if there is an error in it who am I gonna turn to? Ai to fix something they already messed up? No. Sure you can have an AI create art but it won't look good.
No. Also, jobs come and go. AI will actually make MORE jobs possible than before, and higher quality ones to boot.
As for yours, you made the mistake of not keeping relevant. You should maybe look at getting back into it but with a data science angle instead. So scripts instead of "bots"
I’m a server/bartender. I’ve seen clips of restaurants and bars where everything was automated. Bots make your drinks and even bring your food to the table.
but I highly doubt that will become the norm. People will always prefer service from an actual human being
It definitely poses as bigger competition than any other franchise. Dragon Ball is washed and Jurassic World has lost what made it great, I can say more about other titles but I’m sure you’re aware of how dog sh*t the entertainment industry has become. I will make Conga GREAT AGAIN!!! Vote for Trump 2024
Coding is definitely one of the most threatened jobs by AI, but not sure being a hotel receptionist is a suitable replacement job as the earnings potential isn't even close. However, it may become tough for programmers because the skills and personality types they typically have is are not easily translated into other lines of work.
Automation always leads to more jobs. I. e. Assembly lines, as a trade, have become mechanized. Today there needs to be people to both make, repair and program those same machines.
Its all in your perspective of the world, I chose to view it as half-full rather than half-empty.
My job is to use statistical techniques or computational statistics to process data, so AI can make my work easier but not replace me. The basic problem is that to analyse the data and derive usable information, the routine part is only marginal and necessary.
There's nothing that AI & Automation can't do, even your job as a receptionist.
In car factories in South Korea there might be 5 workers when there used to be thousands. In the 90s millions of office workers were replaced by IT.
I'm sure they do not 100% code properly. And you'd have to clean if up the make it work. you'll still need humans for that. And asking the right questions to the AI. If AI and robots take over our jobs , then who will buy their stuff if no one is working?
No, I work at the bank, also Im not worried about AI, I think people should just work less cause AI makes it easier... AI also needs to be supervised so that is always the job as well, it creates another types of jobs
