Alright, here's what I think is going on with this whole Sally situation. First off, it's obvious that she just doesn't like you for whatever reason. Maybe in the past you guys butted heads or had some kind of argument, or maybe she's just not very nice to most people. It's hard to know exactly what her problem is.

But from the way you described it, it really seems like she was jealous when your boss gave you that compliment about doing a good job with the salad bar. I mean, think about it - the boss from another building came all the way over just to tell you you're doing good work. That's gotta piss Sally off if she's always trying to get praise and attention from the managers. Or maybe she's one of those people who loves being the teacher's pet and doesn't like it when other employees are getting noticed.

Then when you said hi to your boss's husband too, that probably made her even madder. She probably thinks you're just sucking up to the bosses or something. But I bet she was wishing the husband would say hi to her instead! Some people are just haters like that. They can't stand to see anyone else getting any attention or doing well at their job.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's jealous of your relationship with the other supervisors too. You said they're always friendly with you right? Well Sally probably wishes that was her up there chilling with the managers instead of you. So now anytime she sees you getting praise or being social with the bosses, she's gonna be in a bad mood and scowling at you.

My advice would just be to not let her get to you. Don't give her the satisfaction of knowing she's messing with your head. Just keep on keeping on dude, doing your job good and talking to whoever you want. As long as your supervisors are cool with you, that's all that really matters. Sally's just a hater - don't waste your time trying to figure her out. Just say what's up to her like normal and don't let her bad attitude bring you down!
