What is your preferred method of learning?

Combination. Particularly teaching.
I'll explain.
I like some barebones explanation from someone who knows the topic of discussion. Could be online lectures, in-person teacher anything. Then comes the reading part. I like to dive deep with some history of the topic as to know why it is the way it is, provides a reason to learn and curiosity to know about how the problems were solved to come to the revised version that I'm reading about right now. Finally teaching/explaining someone else what I learnt. This enforces me to completely understand what I'm trying to learn, otherwise I won't be able to explain to others or answer queries.
I know it's not always possible to have such a flow 😂, but I try to have this style of learning most often.
Hmm it greatly depends on the subject. For some I can just sit in a lesson and absorb it, I don’t really even need to revise, I just get a good result.
For others I really need to do it by rote, and actually doing physical learning, it also greatly helps if you can teach others.
When I was doing some digital design classes, I was helping out explain how to work through Boolean Algebra and other fun things, this helped me learn it more than I did, mainly as I had to answer question from others in my syndicate.
A combination of reading, lecture, and hands-on experience. I think that covers most people’s preferred method of learning. For me, the lecture and the reading prepare me for the hands-on practicum.
I hope this helps.

Practicing a technique is often the best way to learn it. Aside from that I usually prefer a demonstration or reading about it myself

I combine many different methods...
I mostly read; I don't listen to podcasts or watch videos because I get the most by reading (photographic memory), of course, then I try it (so I practice just learned stuff), and as a mentor, I share with my mentees the alternative methods of achieving the goal
I find teaching others as the most efficient, it requires me to understand the subject very well and be prepared to explain very basic and very complex things in understandable way
I don't feel my learning modes are really covered.
First I am visual, love graphs but even with history I am visual. Watching per se doesn't do much if it is a person talking. It becomes better to just listen.
I have a write once memory. Maybe that is more kines-ethic because doing is a major learning mechanism.
For me it's a combination. I listen first... then i like to see a demonstration. Then I need to practice, hands on. That is the best way for me.
The best learning technique consists of information, followed by practice.
From the list... listening/watching followed by doing/practice.
I do pretty well with all methods tbh. But when it's really important then writing a summary is a good way to go.
mostly... doing/practicing and visual as well
By doing. I'm a programmer, I just keep trying until it makes sense to me.
Doing
Have a problem with listening and getting the message (writing) out, but not my fault.
Learning visually/by demo, and then by teaching others.
A combination, id say watching and listening or reading and listening
If you can't teach something, you don't really know it.
By being show how to do it! I'm very much a visual learner!
Practice makes perfect.
I'm a hands on learner
I suppose it depends on what
I usually watch trainings videos🙂
Interpretive dance.😆
Practice
Lecture
