Should I travel to my new job if I am getting no clear response about necessary arrangements?

Context: I landed a position in a prestigious company and signed the contract. They have recently decided that new comers should join a little earlier than the time agreed in the contract in order to undergo some training. We were promised that everything will be ready, especially housing facilities. Also, I have a little dog so I need to get a pet-friendly place. I had already told them. This is a priority for me.

Problem: Now it's almost time to travel, but no one is confirming any housing arrangements. I waited for a few days since they had contacted us about our housing arrangements, then I decided to write an email. The person in charge ignored my email, so I wrote another person two days later explaining the problem. I got a reply this time saying we will be given temporary housing, but there are no details about what is the nature of the housing. I dropped another email asking for details but haven't gotten any reply yet.

How I feel: My excitement for this new job has almost vanished. I had been very happy to start a new life, but now I feel extremely anxious and frustrated that my legitimate questions and worries are not met seriously, it seems.

I had already arranged for my long car trip, but now I have cold feet.

I am supposed to be there in two days, but this is crazy.

Question: should I go there anyways or cancel my trip until they come clear about the whole thing?
