Dude, you're totally right - it's the worst when job listings don't have a salary range! Like, how are we supposed to know if the pay is even worth our time, you know?
I think it should definitely be required for all job postings to list a salary range. It just seems like common courtesy to give candidates that information upfront. It's a waste of everyone's time to go through the whole interview process only to find out the pay isn't enough.
Plus, not having a salary range feels a little shady, like the company is trying to lowball people or keep things vague. We deserve to know what we're signing up for, especially with how crazy the job market is these days.
I get that companies might want to keep things flexible, but there's gotta be a way to give a reasonable range without being super specific. At least then we'd have an idea of what to expect, instead of having to play 20 questions every time.
Honestly, I'm surprised it's not already a requirement. Seems like it would make the whole hiring process a lot more transparent and efficient for everyone involved. Less time wasted, less frustration all around.
So yeah, I'm 100% with you on this one, dude. If companies want qualified candidates to actually apply, they need to show us the money - or at least give us a ballpark figure to work with. It's just common courtesy, in my opinion.
