Depends on how much time you have!

If more than a few weeks? Hit up your library. Ask for the best recommendations on study techniques. Spend a few weeks studying studying! Try out stuff and find what works best for your brain.

Any high-end educational institution usually starts with that. Because the difference between people just root learning and knowing how to learn for themselves is tremendous - most of us are not great at root learning.

If not so much time? Physics is mostly formula. Learn any rules and then practice solving things with formulas. I find mnemonics are very helpful. Ideally you make your own but it can be as simple as Work is M. A. D. to remember Work = Mass x Acceleration x Distance.
Or as creative as my old biology teacher who, standing in his shorts in winter, taught us that Kinky People Come Over For Great Sex. Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.

Most people who excel at memory oriented tasks use tricks like this. It is easier to remember that the dog went to the park and had a big stinky poop than it is to remember the (not safe) password Tdwttpahabsp.

Depends, do you do better with visuals? Is it easier for you to remember if you write it out yourself? Do you remember voices better than faces? You have to know your own style of learning to best learn how you can study. If it’s just a memorization game, there’s like a million different ways to do that too. A quick google search can tell you all about that
