Trending & News Depends on your definition of “enjoyable.”
Being a normal cop means you drive around, get to be nosy bc everyone’s asking for your help but you can’t do much until crimes are actually committed and you’ll also hear a lot of bullshit. Not really great in my opinion
Corrections officers regularly beat the shit out of inmates and cover it up. You would be a part of this whether you personally participate in it or not.
police officer would be better I think, correction officer mostly stay inside building with fews real sunlight and for having worked in shop with nearly no real sunlight it get very depressing after a while.
I know hundreds of cops and many screws. I think most of the cops are really interested in serving their communities. Most prison guards just see it as a job.

Choosing between being a police officer or a corrections officer depends on personal preferences and values. A police officer often encounters dynamic, unpredictable situations and community interaction, which can be exciting for those who enjoy public service and variety. A corrections officer, on the other hand, works in a more controlled environment, focusing on the care and supervision of inmates, suitable for individuals who excel in security and rehabilitation roles. Reflect on the work environment and day-to-day responsibilities of each to determine which aligns with your interests and skills.
