Why I oppose the "Zero Tolerance" rule for fighting at school. What do you think?

Before i studied karate and Japanese Ju Jitsu, I was on several occasions bullied and even the victim of an attempted murder while at school from the 4th grade through the 7th grade, although 7th grade was a different perpetrator involved. While in the 4th grade, an older boy who had failed school several times choked me out for no damned reason at all other than he was an evil demon-possessed person who belonged in Juvenile prison. Nobody else stopped the attack except one teacher hwo must have been the 30th person aware of the attack, because it took the teachers forever to show up and stop him choking me. One other person, who's name was Kevin also jumped and and tried to free me from the choke hold, but he wasn't strong enough either.

the principal at the first school FORCED me to sit on the same seat as this person on the bus ride home (why wasn't he arrested for quite literally attempting ot murder me I have no clue,) but anyway, half-way home he resumed attempting to murder me, so I fought back and somehow got him ina choke hold this time and I was choking him out and I almost wish I'd killed him.

Three years later, after my family moved away from that school district to another, it happened again, an older boy kept attacking me for no good reason, but around that time I had become a Yellow Belt in Isshinryu Karate, so by now I knew my basic strikes, blocks, and aroudn 8 or 10 submissions. At some point, this much bigger, probably then 200 pounds boy vs me bying whatever 12 or 13 years old, he punched me twice in the face. I blocked the second attack and put him in a wrist lock and then counter-punched him in the solar plexus and face, and then did a full Ippon throw of him over my shoulder, slamming him into the gravel courtyard, and then he stopped attacking me. Lo and behold, the principal once again suspends me for "fighting" and claimed that "Jason would never do that..." and I called the principal to his face a "damned liar".

"Zero Tolerance" at school is unconstitutional. You have a God-given right and a second amendment right to defend yourself from people beating the hell out of you in any place, much less a public place.

I don't say this lightly, the next person dumb enough to try to punch me or choke me in a self-defense situation is going to get messed up, badly.

the first guy back in the 4th grade belonged in Juvenile Detention, not elementary school. He should have been ARRESTED for attempted murder that day. Period.
