*Fingers crossed*
Do you think I'm bound to get a job interview?
*Fingers crossed*
I hope with those Indeed jobs you applied through the company website and not just through Indeed. I found out the hard way that many jobs on Indeed aren’t real jobs. They just want to steal your contact information so they can try to scam you with fake job ads. I’ve been applying for jobs too and if I find something on Indeed I look for a company website to visit and apply there. I found more success that way. That’s just my experience.
For the majority of them I did. There were only 2 that didn't have a company website.
I would think so!
Thanks!
Aww thank you! That means a lot you saying that!
I definitely will! 💕
You're welcome! And thanks! 😊
I hope you do. I just wen't through almost a dozen over the last few months. 2 offers, took 1 though it wasn't the best pay. Start in August
Thank you! I just got one! Fingers crossed that I get it! And congrats!
Good luck! I know it's almost impossible to get an interview these days.
Thank you!
I like the initiative—you’ve already done something many people procrastinate on.
But you’re not “bound” to get interviews just from 15 applications. It’s a good start, not a guarantee.
To improve your odds quickly:
- Tailor your resume and cover letter to each posting’s keywords.
- Apply to a few more roles daily for the next 2–3 weeks.
- Follow up on state applications through their portal or HR contact.
- Network: connect with people in those agencies/companies on LinkedIn.
Volume + targeting + networking is what usually gets my clients interviews.

Don't just cross your fingers. Call those companies to follow up on your applications. That's how you stand out. Give it at least a week after applying and, fi you don't hear anything, be proactive and call them.
Ok I'll do just that! Thanks for the advice!
Yup i agree. Do follow up calls to any place you applied and haven’t heard anything back from yet
If you are qualified for those jobs, you should get at least a few job interviews. The state jobs might take a while to decide, one way or the other. Companies that post on Indeed are usually looking for people and make up their minds about possible candidates relatively quickly.
In any case, it might be several weeks before you hear anything.
Just remember as IRS office worker your soul will die and you have to swear eternal loyalty to the devil
Don't get to tax office.
I'm kidding, good hunt!
Haha thanks!
Your showing perseverance so something out there will be a fit for your background and experience. Best of luck getting the best job.
Thank you!
@Simslover92 from what I know of you, you are a talented woman and should have not trouble getting a good job offer
Aww thanks 😊
@Simslover92 ... no trouble getting a good job...(spell check is useless)
what kind of jobs are these?
I think that's a big factor
Program coordinator and administrative assistant jobs.
hmm, if you have the experience on that... then I think there's good chances
have you ever heard of the "dreaded" AI taking such jobs?
I think I might have a good chance with them. And yes I have.
I hope you get a few...
just try not to overthink much about it, lol
Ok I won't lol and thanks!
Whenever I was looking for a job, I found that sending out 10 CV or applying for 10 jobs usually got me 3 interviews and 2 firm offers from which I could choose. I think that's a good average, on the condition that you apply for jobs in line with your degree and previous experience.
I've applied for way more than that before and got zero. But since you live in the South, your chances are higher.
Good luck
Thanks! I hope so.
If where you are is any thing like here. When a job opens up they have 100s of applicants. Well good luck on your job search.
Thanks!
Stay on top of them so call and ask a few times. To find out if you get a chance to prove yourself and how you're going to become an asset for that company
Good luck for you in advance. I hope you can find a suitable job have you got any experience?
Thank you and yes I do.
Thats good news having an experience gives a leverage in interviews
Thanks and that's true it does! I'm going to try my best to knock it out of the park!
I m sure you will you already have the spirit 👍
Thanks! 😊
You are welcome 👍
I sure you’re going to get something but I have my fingers crossed for you
Thanks!
@Simslover92
You’re welcome
I think so, at least one, anyway, good luck :)
Thank you! 😊
You're welcome :D
I had better, luck with Zip Recruiter. At least you would get some feedback if your resume was accessed.
Good thing you did the addition.. Indeed is like applying to be sucked into a black hole, so let's subtract 8. The remaining 7 are probably less likely lol.
Most jobs off indeed are fake. They already hired internal but for legal reasons they need to interview external. The state jobs I know nothing about except they look for minorities first. Illegally.
Maybe. I think it depends a lot on what you said when you asked for the interview.
Good Luck
Follow up where possible.
Thanks!
Crossing my fingers 🤞🏼 for you! 🙏🏼
Thank you!
Good luck !!! I hope it works out for you.
Thank you!
I’m pretty sure you’ll get some success
Thanks!

Thank you!
I hope you get many interviews!
Thank you!
@Simslover92 Thank you for the Like
The odds suggest you should.
It depends on how well your resume looks.
