Oh No, the Sun may not Incinerate the Earth in 5 million years, what do we do now?

Conventional theory is that, as the sun runs out of fuel in about 5 million years, it will expand into a red giant, incinerate the Earth, and then collapse into a white dwarf.

Recent studies, however, now theorize that the Earth may survive that. Though Mercury and Venus will be toast, the third rock from the sun (planet Earth) may survive, though life on it may be difficult.

Knowing this, what should we do now?

I'm pretty sure I typed "5 billion years" which somehow ended up as "5 million years". Apologies for not catching that, and thanks to those who pointed it out.
