Do You Think Some TV Shows Have Overstayed Their Welcome?

I don't watch tv like I use to but what shows do you think should have wrapped it up a long time ago but are still going on? I know some people will say why kill off a good thing but all good things have to come to a close eventually before they start to sour the good memories. For examples:

I watched the Simpson a few times growing up and I had a good laugh or two because of Homer and his silly antics. My brother is a huge fan of the show and loves the Simpsons, however, the show now has it's 29th season and has been around since 1989. At this point Lisa and Bart should be young adults or adults and maggie should be in her teens at least. I know they they keep them at that age on purpose but it would it would be something new to see them grow up over the years.

Now I know some die hard walking dead fans are going to hate me for this but sadly the walking dead is pretty much well...dead. This is a perfect example of a show over staying it's welcome, why? Cause the show has gone completely off the road from where it started. When the walking dead air for the first time, I was so hyped over this show and wanted to see where it was going to go and what would happen with the survivors. But now, the show has lost it's spark and direction, it was about survival and not becoming a walking dead but then it changed to people wanting power over each other in a world surrounded by zombies and it has been that way for a long time. That's why i lost interest in the walking dead, and the killing off of certain characters that are meant to be there and not following the comic book really ruined the show. We don't care about groups of people beefing, we want to know how the world got the way it was and if their is answer for it.

I can't believe I'm saying this, cause this show was my entire life growing up as a kid. This was the first anime I ever watched when it appeared on toonami. Everything about this show was simple amazing and watching Goku grow through the years and change as a person was great. My favorite season ever of all time was the cell saga and when Gohan single handedly destroyed cell, I will never forget it cause it was the best episode ever. But sadly the show isn't what it use to be, how many times can we see Goku die and then miraculously come back even though he's not suppose to after the 200th time? And the constant fighting over the dragon balls and saving the earth has been drawn out. I think there needs to be a finale that either says the world is finally going to be at peace or not. Goku has been fighting his whole life and has put his life on the line multiple times, i think our hero needs to finally rest and experience what a normal life is like without someone wanting to blow up the world ever 5 seconds. Then again I haven't watched show in years so maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway, what are some tv shows do you think need to finally say goodbye and have a good ended that will make us cherish the moments with that show?

The simpsons has gotten boring. Thier teehouse of horrors episodes are the only ones that entertain anymore.

Dragonball as well as it isn't what it used to be I still enjoy it. GT was meh, the first half sucked but I liked the second half. Super is pretty good minus the tournament of power which was rushed. I'm also excited for the movie which is canon. After ultra instinct gets to the point where goku could use it at will I think the series is at a point where it should stop.

Though adding to overstayed tv shows, every singing show on tv, every bachelor/bachelorette, every reality tv show (I know most don't last long but they nee dto all just die off before they even have a leg to stand on), Jerry Springsr/Maury /anything else similar, Two Broke Girls, soap operas and the walking dead is going downhill and just need to die off (Coming from a TWD fan).

If we talk about anime One Piece really needs to stop where it's at. I honestly prefer the shorter anime, a good lot of story and plot within a 25 episodes or less. Though some longer ones aren't bad. I'd like to see a long proper anime rendition of Berserk.

You've said, no body believes in that bachelor reality crap tv show's anymore. We all know it's scripted just like wwe, and before says movies are scripted we already know that. The issue is that at one point these shows try to come off as real, when something tries to come off as real but then we find out it's fake.. it loses credit.

Yes. The News is a case in point. Just scrap it and do a more in depth weather forecast. I'd also get rid of EastEnders and Emmerdale.
