I've not got the authority to say these'll be good in anyone's eyes, but here's a list of some of my favorite movies so you can watch em when you're bored, or if you know them, have an entire conversation with me composed of only quotes from that movie. These are in no particular order

Labyrinth

Who doesn't like Bowie as a goblin king?

Across The Universe

I don't even like musicals, but this one's great. The entire soundtrack is Beatles songs, and it uses SO MUCH SYMBOLISM

The Shining

Most everyone's seen it, but oh well. I love horror. Really, any movies based on Steven King books. Or any Steven King books.

Labyrinth is my ultimate one time favourite movie of all! David Bowie is so amazing in it!
I watched the Shining too, so very psychologically disturbing but equally fascinating to watch!

Never understood the obsession with this movie. I am a horror movie fanatic, especially the classics, but thought The Shining is overrated.

Could be because it's a Stanley Kubrick film, a film based on Stephen King's novel, Jack Nicholson, "Here's Johnny!," the twin girls, the ghosts, the ending, the differences from the novel, etc

Yes, the Labyrinth & the Shining were remarkable movies. I don't recall ever watching 'Across The Universe' which now prompts me to find it.
