Hello everyone. Still Alive here and i thought i would make this list again. As most who know me here knows i am a huge gamer. I did this list way back in about 2018 i think? i think its time for a new one!

I'll just give you a list of video games that i liked for every year that i have been alive starting from 1983 to now. I will go by the U.S. release dates. I thought i would be fun to do. maybe you guys can share yours. Starting with....

1983: Mario Bros (Arcade, Apple II, NES)

A very fun arcade style game featuring our favorite plumbers! I played the Apple II version mainly.

1984: Paperboy (Arcade, NES)

Another fun arcade game delivering papers. I loved tagging the robber as you see in the pic here lol.

1985: Super Mario Bros (NES)

The iconic game that brought revived the home video game market from extinction! Gaming wouldnt be the same without this one.

1986: The Legend of Zelda (NES)

The very first Zelda game. Very archaic now but i still enjoy it.

1987: Mega Man (NES)

The first of many mega man games. You select your stage and take the bad guys powers.

1988: SimCity (PC, SNES)

A different kind of game where you build your city and watch it grow. can be quite rewarding

1989: Mega Man 2 (NES)

Probably the best Mega Man game you could ever play

1990: King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder (PC)

One of the many point and click adventure style games of this era. Save often!

1991: Final Fantasy II (4 officially) (SNES)

The game that got me into RPGs. I rented it over and over again from my local rental store.

1992: Super Mario Kart (SNES)

The first of many Mario Karts. I got excellent times on each track

1993: Secret of Mana (SNES)

A zelda style action rpg that really inspired my imagination.

1994: Super Metroid (SNES)

Arguably my favorite game of all time

1995: Chrono Trigger (SNES)

Maybe the Crown jewel of RPGs. Hopefully they bring it back for a remaster so more can play it!

1996: Civilization II (PC)

The strategy game that got me into History and to even study it in college!

1997: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)

Maybe the best Castlevania game ever

1998: Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1)

My all time favorite game. i poured so many hours into this one.

1999: Heroes of Might and Magic III (PC)

A Fantasy strategy game that i got so addicted to.

2000: The Sims (PC)

The first sims that had you make people and watch them live

2001: Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube)

I was always terrible at fighting games.. until Smash bros that is. just an excellent game series.

2002: Final Fantasy XI (PS2, PC)

My first ever MMORPG. Made some friends playing this one.

So thats 1983-2002. What was YOUR favorites of each year? lemme know. I'll come out with part 2 very soon! hope you enjoyed this! It's a lot of fun reminiscing about all these games that just cemented my love for the hobby since i was a toddler hehe.
