Christian Bale was the better batman in my opinion.
the physique is less important as Batman isn't a powerhouse and the more unique his physique the less believable it is no one can work out who he is.
It's the attitude where Bale gets it for me. Bats is perhaps the most liked superhero of all time and it's because he's the dark knight. He does what it takes, not a hero, he has a dark side unlike the boy scout superman. He also has to used tactics and intelligence as much as or more than brawn in a perfect blend that is just awesome to behold. With that being my impression of Batman, Bale wins because his goal is more relatable, his path less self serving and his methods more efficient. While Ben wasn't bad in B v S there was too much dick measuring and in then end it ended as it always does against superman "lol, kryptonite tho" which just doesn't do the caped crusader justice in my opinion
I do think that Ben Affleck is the better Batman and that comes as something of a surprise to me. When I first heard that he was taking on the role I thought it was a terrible idea. There was, in my mind, nothing even remotely super hero-ish about Ben Affleck. But then I saw him. Granted, the movie was pretty bad. But his part in it was fantastic. I suspect the next movie is going to be every bit as bad as this one was but I will still go see it just for Ben Affleck's Batman.
I've never seen the Ben Affleck films, but I honestly just don't like him as a person. For these superhero movies, I prefer to see actors who I haven't seen a million times before. They are portraying iconic characters! I don't want to see Affleck and think of one of his many other characters. I want to think of Batman. The Batman. I enjoyed the Dark Knight trilogy with Christian Bale, they are actually some of my favorite movies. To me, he did a very good job, and "fit" the role.
Based on Batman: The Animated Series, I think Ben Affleck is the Bats/Bruce Wayne. With his jawline, and his whole stand, he fits the part of my most favorite Batman series. Bale was good too. But Affleck FTW.
I don't know, Christian bale did that terrible bat man voice and I didn't watch the one with Ben cause I didn't think it would be that great. I'm kinda over bat man, superman, Spider-Man movies.

He helped Val Kilmer to not to be the worst. Clooney wasn't that bad even with the bat-nipple-gate.

Christian bale is more the Ninja type which is why he is objectively superior to Batfleck in every way. Don't get me wrong, Ben did a great job being batman... but he was too buff and broad. It made him look too much like a boxer/bodybuilder, rather than a martial artists who relies on steal and blending in to his surroundings... basically Batfleck just doesn't fit my mental of image of what batman was ever supposed to be.
Both are pretty good, and both believable as both Batman and Bruce Wayne, something no one has done since Adam West. That being said, I like Christian Bale better.
While I haven’t seen enough of Ben as Batman, I’ve seen enough of both of them to know Christian Bale is a better actor and way hotter.
Christian bale's actually hot, and I prefer the dark knight trilogy (like the rest of the universe) so I'd go with him.

it's a little unfair because the movies with Bale were better written. Affleck was given really corny movies to be in.

Buttfleck was a horrible Batman. I knew that the moment they announced him as Batman. It was a total travesty to the series. He was almost as bad as George Clooney.
