I don't understand the popularity either... Mainstream hip hop and rap nowadays is just shit compared to what it used to be. What happened to real music like Tupac? The real rappers nowadays don't get the credit they deserve.
I agree with you! I think the music industry has been marketing this type of rap, because they can get literally anyone to make it & don't need to find someone with talent!
You can just vibe without using your brain. The repetitive lyrics make it almost the same as a blank beat. The "uhh" are addlibs and they are used to make the lyrics line up with the beat perfectly.
Fuck do I know? It's all crap to me. Everything new is shit in my ears. My Dt990 are too good for such peasant music
