In Halo CE, did you think that the elite zealots or spec ops were more difficult opponents?

One on one I'd say zealots were more dangerous BUT spec ops elites worked in groups while zealots operated individually so I'd say encounters with the spec ops elites were more difficult.

I actually played Halo CE not a week ago. I would say the spec ops due to their propensity of spamming grenades and being accompanied by grunts with fuel rod guns. I'm talking about the ones in the last level. If you are talking about the stealth elites then the zealots are a lot more dangerous.

I wasn't talking about the stealth elites. I think if you were facing them 1 on 1 the zealots would be harder but spec ops elites work in groups so encounters with them are harder.

The thing about the zealots is they often take you by surprise but if you know they are there taking them down isn't much harder than any other elite provided you have the right weapons (plasma pistol preferably with a human pistol or sniper). The spec ops elites are just plain annoying with their grenade spam and take a lot more time to clear.
