Some shows that come to mind for me are Pokemon, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Powerpuff Girls, Invader Zim, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Danny Phantom, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. If anyone watched the newer Samurai Jack season it'd be basically that. A kid's show with darker/more adult themes. Some of the ones I mentioned were already pretty dark like Courage 😆
