Betty White died today... how do you feel?

Betty White, long-time comedienne and television star, died at her home today (31 December 2021), just 17 days short of her 100th birthday.

I remember her in many TV shows, comedies and game shows. She was a classy lady and will be missed.

THAT'S WEIRD!! Sometime in the past two days, someone posted a bunch of pictures of her on another site!
She made it a bit farther than my aunt who died 3 weeks shy of her 100th b-day but, in her case, I'm SURE she would've made it well beyond 100 if her asshole kids hadn't fucked her over by putting her in a home 2 years before she died!! She was VERY spry and, even I had trouble keeping up with her!! Once they put her in that home against her wishes, she just rotted away!! I don't think I'll ever forgive them for that!!

I heard the news this morning. I was a bit surprised because I always thought she would make it to 100. She was certainly the entertainment icon!!!

Absolutely saddening. I was actually shocked when I heard it and thought it was just a bad joke. I dropped everything I was doing just to go look if it were true or not.

She was truly a pioneer and seemingly loved by her peers and fans everywhere. I wish her family and fans well and hope she is able to rest well wherever she may be.

I saw this on the news the other day. Last year people were going on about how old she was and how in one more year she would be 100. I think they jinxed her. So sad. She was a great actress. Funny. Witty. I loved her performance in The Proposal.

I think it's similar to how I feel about most celebrity deaths. Not much. Other than Bernie Mac and Kobe Bryant there are very few celebrities that I actually felt anything when they died
