You find tapes with names on them, do you watch them or not?

I'd stay away from them, because generally in the best of the cases it's just bad homemade porn; at the worst it's someone taping themselves killing small animals.
Not too many years ago, while rummaging through old stuff I had found something similar - an album of developed photos with my dad's name on it. No amount of brain bleach can scrub off the memory of that day when I learned that "nudes" were a thing before the advent of smartphones...

Well if it was at my videographer friends house, I'd assume they are old wedding videos he took, but I'd probably be wrong, maybe I'd have a quick look at a couple. Finding VHS porn takes me back to the excitement of my youth, it was like striking gold🤣

The trick with VHS tapes is that you had to remember the counter number on the vcr so you could rewind it to exactly where it was. I learned watching porn on those as a kid. Make sure it's exactly at the same spot in the video when you put it back so you don't get caught, lol.

I wouldn't touch someone else's video machine. Those things are so precarious that a simple fast forward or rewind operation can get the tape caught. That would take some explaining afterwards. I'd rather just ask them who Linda and Mark were.

Mostly, because nowadays I wouldn't know where to get this dinosaur VHS player from. A museum, perhaps?
