Do you fall for movie studios renaming a movie franchise by a different name to draw audience to theaters?

Example, the new predator movie in 2022 was not called predator but a generic title named prey. Essentially removing all expectation people have of the film and going into viewing the film blind. Essentially movie studios do this to attract audience who otherwise would be turned off by the original name of the franchise.

An example of this in the past was "man of steel" where instead of titling it Superman, the studio didn't want people to associate it with just another superman film after the disastrous box office of superman (2006).

So my question is this, do you fall for studio renaming popular movie franchise by another name in order to attract audiences to the theaters?
