What's a movie that scared you as a kid?

As a kid, I had learning disabilities and proper meds to treat them took a very long time to find and it never truly kicked in until high school where I both had proper meds and the motivation to do well.

There were simple aspects of stories I may understand, Vader being an example of that but if someone were to ask me why Luke and Han Solo were together, I wouldn't know and trying to get me to understand would only confuse me.

The Terminator movie is one I very much like when i watched it in college but I didn't see Terminator 2: Judgement Day until yesterday.

I absolutely loved the movie but I'm glad I never saw it as a kid, as I said, there are some parts of a storyline that I may be able to comprehend as a kid.

The scene where John calls his foster parents is one that for sure would've petrified me as a kid, it's quite scary even as an adult seeing the complexity of the new T-1000 series that's able to shape-shift into any human it comes in contact with and use their voice as well.

I initially felt that the T-1000 actor was acting too human, showing emotions and expressions when talking compared to the very robotic personality of the T-800 but his "zero fucks given" attitude when pursuing John got my attention quite well.

The way the T-800 tests John's foster mom by referring to the dog as "Wolfie" when the dog's name is "Max" is something I might've caught as a kid and when the John's mom calls the dog "Wolfie" that verified that it wasn't John's foster mom, it was the T-1000 trying to get him to come home.

This would've petrified me as a kid, just the idea of a completely indestructible robot that's able to shape-shift was coming to kill me would keep me up. Although I might not have understood that scene despite how chilling it is and that's why I'm glad I didn't see it until now where I can experience it for the first time with no spoilers.
