Anyone else disliked the Netflix Cowboy Beepop live action? What do you think of these casting choices if they decided to remake a good live action?

Dan Stevens as Vicious

Michael Chiklis as Jet

Ashley Tisdale as Julia

The live action show would go as:

Season 1: Spike's origin story in the Red Dragon crime syndicate

Season 2: Spike leaving the Syndicate

Season 3: Spike meeting Jet and bounty hunting episodes

Season 4: Remake of episodes 1-5 of the anime

Season 5: A couple of anime episodes remade in live actions and the last 2 episodes of the anime.

A good alternative choice for Fae would be Mary Elizabeth Winstead in my opinion.

Thanks, I think got the Spike and Vicious actors on point for resemblance except that Orlando Bloom looks much older than he did in that picture though.

For Fae I thought Chelsea was the best pick for her until I noticed the face shape as Fae has a rounder face. But because Fae had a pretty face, big green eyes, full thinnish lips and pointy nose I think Chelsea could play her as she also has those features despite lacking a rounder face shape. Some people view Fae as an Asian girl due to her eyebrows and because Asian girls tend to have rounder faces in general, but due to the other facial features I always pictured her as a white girl.

Several other actresses could also play Fae in my opinion such as Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Audra Van Hees, Jaine Wisener.

I loved the live-action and was really disappointed when it did not get renewed. The actress who played Faye was awesome.

But your picks aren't bad. I don't think you could get some of these actors, though.

i mean depending on the makeup and visual effects, the characters can probably be quite fitting. Michael Chiklis needs to lose some weight and Dan Stevens is in my opinion the worst match for his role.

naw i don't know enough actors to sugest a better one. but his general facial structure is just so different. not so much lengthy and skinny.

I preferred the anime just due to it being a nice work of art.
Live action adaptations are always funny to me they can either do really well or are not that great in the long run.

Hmmm I’d say spike would be the best pic due to looks alone but for the least maybe vicious but I think it’s due to not having a scowl face in the pic maybe he has a pretty good vicious scowl that I haven’t seen.

One of the reasons I think he looks the part is because he can do an evil serious look easily. I've worked with a guy in the military that can look more like Vicious than he does in my opinion (mainly the eye shape) but he's not an actor and I don't want to put people's social media pics on here.

I think Dan Stevens has the perfect look to play Vicious, I think he looks like a real-life version of the anime character, I doubt anyone else could look more like Vicious in real life. For Fae I think Chelsea looks like her, or another actress that could play her maybe is Mary Elizabeth Winstead. For Spike I think Orlando looks like him but he's 50 and looks way older than the picture now I think.

The live action was dog shit. It wasn't anything like the anime, and felt like it too often went out of its way not to be. That made no sense.
