I used to like Andrew Tate, but I don't anymore.

It's similar to my experience with Trump. He said things that pissed off people I despise, and even said several things I liked (wanting to deport illegals, women with high body counts aren't marriage worthy). However, the more I listen to him the less I like him. At this point I hope his car catches on fire and burns him alive.

He's the most arrogant POS I've ever seen. He's not intelligent, but he talks as if he is (purposefully slow, and trying to touch on deep subjects without any actual deep thoughts like Jordan Peterson). All he does is repeat other red-pill rhetoric- nothing else he says makes any logical sense. He blatantly lies about how much money he has, and has people convinced he's some kind of financial guru (from my best estimate, he got relatively well off from sex cams, crypto, and some other hustler bs).

Then he converted to Islam just to jump behind the religion and call anyone who criticized him racist...

Anything he says that's not redpill is just "yea my mansion; yea my bugatti; yea we can go to all the nicest restaurants, the most expensive things, blah blah blah." he's a fkin con man. It's all smoke and mirrors, and I guarantee you in a year we'll be watching a Netflix special of how he made up this image of an ultra wealthy person based on debt and overt lies. None of the private planes in the photos are his, he owes a ton on his "mansion," and it's all kept up by his social media image/ income.

Listen, I want to like people like him, but just like Trump he's riding a movement to benefit HIMSELF. He's not running his mouth for anyone's benefit than his own.
You can believe whatever you want, but be cautious when you accept the newest redpill celebrity as if they're some paragon of the movement- often they're profit-driven, popularity-driven, and have NOT lived in line with their stated beliefs.
Andrew Tate was a glorified pimp- he benefited off loose, damaged women who he was able to convince that he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He took half of their income for himself. The photos he takes in front of private jets, or at bugatti dealerships are just photo ops- it's ALL smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that his legitimate business dealings are NOT that lucrative, are morally reprehensible, and possibly underlie illegitimate business dealings... You think it's just a coincidence that he lives in Eastern Europe (a place notorious for prostitution and human trafficking)?
What does the red-pill call us to do as men? It doesn't say to hate everyone and become a recluse; let alone to idolize mouthy guys with a little money. It tells us to respect ourselves, to create our value through honest, focused work, to expect value in our women, to take on our duty as protectors and providers, and NOT indulge in all the degenerate activities of the modern world (porn, promiscuity, simp behavior, etc.). Now tell me what a pimp, playboy, who is constantly taking pictures of how rich they are embodies this?

I agree that he is candid, and that he has good insights because he doesn't lie to himself he's very real to himself. A role model of mine, Henry David Thoreau, said "Go confidently in the directions of your dreams. Live the life you imagined." For Thoreau, that meant just buying a piece of land, building your own house, not owing a debt, and chilling out in a cabin writing philosophy. So hopefully you don't agree with him on certain points and strive to emulate him instead of finding your own path and what makes you happy, as well as analyzing what you think will bring happiness and if it truly has value.

I like the imagine Thoreau's life sometimes. Imagine, you're in the wilderness, bulding a cabin, living off the land, just you. There's absolutely no frame of reference for what this thing called "happiness" is. It could just be the way a patch of sunshine looks in the forest for him. It could just be the way the natural world around him attunes him with his spiritual self.
