Cause the background sucks, you can also be in a much cooler position that's not just standing there awkwardly, keep in mind the picture will bring curiosity to click on your music, I would scroll past your album with that rachet cover (no offense) but I would cause it seems boring judging by the album cover

You dont need studio time... you can record your voice with your iphone. Send the audio over to a producer on fiverr. Pretty much every major corporation uses fiverr now. Including the nfl.

The person is beautiful and is going to attract attention. But that will be countered by the background and cluttered room. People will associate the picture which looks like an uninspired selfie to represent the album and so if the picture is uninspired then they'll think the album is too.
