Can this technique be effective or will it flop no matter what?

Ever since I finished the first….. I guess wave of Legacy Tease (if you don’t know it’s my LEGO Stop Motion series on YouTube), I have decided to never include ANYTHING that flies or hovers, because it seemed impossible to do it without ALWAYS having part of the object out of camera view and holding it. That’s just lame, and with how much I have improved since the first wave of Legacy Tease, doing that is kind of below my standards and I’m sure the 3 people who actively watch my videos that aren’t friends or family would have slightly higher expectations as well. Maybe not but who cares.

Today especially, I have thought about this again and am in the middle of reconsidering. I came up with a method I’ve never used before in the history of my entire life or have ever seen anyone else use. It’s the whole reason why this post exists. I must say first though, in the second episode of Legacy Tease 2 (which WILL premiere this weekend) I use paper to act as snow during the short scene where Alex and Steve are introduced. For what this whole thing is, I’d say it’s pretty Fan Dabby Dozy.

Now finally to the point, if I ever do include flying characters and/or objects, I was thinking of just using paper again or some other flat thing as background to make it look like whatever is in the sky. I’m not paying for some stupid subscription to edit things out, I found an app that does do this for free the exact way I wanted, but of course like everything else it only does photos and DISCRIMINATES videos. Also another part of this trick which I think would be a big factor is angle of the camera. Since erasing Weight Supporters isn’t an option, I’d just keep them in the video but at an angle that both is just, good and hides the WS. Probably the design of the whatever would play a role too, but that’s smaller than the other two. Hovering objects like the Trident from Apex Legends which I plan to also turn into a LEGO Transformer, would probably be easier to do.

Can this technique be effective or will it flop no matter what?
