What’s something you thought was cool as a kid but would make you cringe now?

I thought high schoolers and people in their 20’s were cool.

They’re not.. lol no one is just because of the age alone. I assumed they were because I assumed they all shared a certain “type of thinking,” but that’s no guarantee. I realized what they thought could be heavily dependent on trends in society.

It was a big disappointment…🥲

I also thought ZuZu pets were cool as a kid.. but that’s just lol it’s just crazy tbh..😂👐

Honestly not a whole lot has changed since I was a kid as far as what I thought was cool and now what actually is. I think the only thing really that has changed is seeing how much was more was involved in the people I thought were cool. Like I used to think all mail men and fireman were the coolest because of how much they did for everyone. And they still both are. But they also are often alcoholics and in often have earful home lives. That isn’t to say that they all do or that they all have issues. Or even to say that I wouldn’t if I was in there shoes. Just that there is a lot more there then what meets the eye.

Picking my noise and then eating the boogers, I did that up until I was 5... until the day my sister saw me and she made a big deal about it. Then my mother came in and made me feel like I was so grouse. I was a kid I had no clue, until they told me and made me feel like shit about it.

I used to stick shit in my ears to, like bubble gum and shit. Had to go the doctor to get it pulled out. I saw my dad using ear plugs, and I thought he was putting gum in his ears... that it would be cool to be like my dad.

I hated that show whenever we did have cable which wasn't a lot at all, whenever that show popped on I use to turn my TV off and play outside if nothing else was on Nick or cartoon network hahaha
