Would it make sense to carry and gun and pick axe on your legs?

A 50 caliber sniper rifle to be exact. I’m asking because I’ve made more progress on Miner, my LEGO Transformer that turns into a Jurassic World buggy. He has a pickaxe and a Kraber from Apex Legends and in vehicle form, they sit on the roof. My original plan was to have parts of the roof move to his waist and sort of make a skirt thing but now I don’t think will work and he’ll just have to carry them on his legs in Terrestrial form.

I’m almost done with him. Well I kind of am done, not including his accessories. I started off making his Terrestrial Form, then I transformed him when I got to the lower legs. So I just need to update the TF and then I can get to his items

The pick axe maybe on your thigh but the gun, no. The gun would be on your back. No one is going to believe that sort of gun on your leg -- even for tall men that gun is too tall for their leg.

Maybe he can take it off his leg and only put it there when he transforms.

The doors sort of turn into (useless) wings so there isn’t too much space in his back

Why not make it that the tail is the pickaxe when in that form with maybe gun on back

That’d be a weird tail. That’d also be basically impossible due to how he transforms. VT has a transformation more similar to that but he has no accessories. I could maybe work something out with the gun on back though…. How about I take a pot him currently and post it tomorrow?
