Which Song do you listen to, with each mood you are in?

I thought of this question all of a sudden because I remembered a time- many years ago-which seems not so long ago, I wanted to repeat this first song-mostly that first day, when I felt.. welll, (can't describe in words). Anyway, for the next three months, on and off I would listen to this song a lot and then, this song with it, in those three months. I still think of that day, what I had to do because of love. Early that moring, I changed up the lyrics to, 'this little light of mine'. kept singing it.

as for other moods, I really don't listen lyric type music much anymore, mostly just beats.

I don't understand the question and I don't listen to just ONE song for any particular mood. It's usually a few hours worth, if not a lot longer.

I've got several compilations I've put together over the years. Each one is based on how I want to feel at any given time. "Night Music" is the kind of stuff I like to listen to at night, preferably in bed with someone I love a lot but, most often, that's not the case so, if I just feel like sitting in a mostly darkened room, I'll play that. "Beautiful Music" is also good for that or listening to in the pool on a sunny day or just sitting around and enjoying the scenery. "Blisters" was a set I put together mostly to get my blood pumping if I was on my way to a gig in Erie or someplace else that took several hours to get to. "Voyage.." was basically the same as "Night Music" but it's not so much a "random" collection of similar songs as it is a set of specifically placed songs. It needs to be listened to as one piece. A couple years ago I met a girl named, Crystal and she said she had no idea what ska was so, I made a CD of ska for her which I listen to myself, once in a while. I just called it, "Ska For Crystal". About a year or two before mom died, her fave station stopped playing music and became all talk! I bought her a 5-disc CD player stereo that also played MP3's so, I started putting together a huge collection of the kind of music she'd like to listen to. Big band, `50's, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Engelfart Humperstink, etc. and built a 12 or 13 CD collection of that kind of stuff for her so she'd have something to listen to during the day. One I just created a few months ago but isn't "set in stone" yet is just called, "Spacey Stuff", it's mostly the kind of "spacey" music they used to play on FM radio in the mid to late `70's. Gary Wright / Dream Weaver, Foreigner / Star Rider, Fleetwood Mac / Crystal, Blue Oyster Cult / I Love The Night, Nazareth / Please Don't Judas Me, etc.. Again, it's mostly for listening to at night but, to gain a certain type of feeling. For me, it's sort of nostalgic.

I'm planning on doing one based on the new wave (mostly) music I loved during the `77 - `86 period and another that I plan to just call, "1965' or even just, "`65" that focuses mostly on the music I loved between `63 and `66. the British Invasion era and before the psych era began, and then there's a massive work in progress that I started 24 years ago as of next Monday, "The Enpsychlopedia". A HUGE collection of really great psychedelic music The kind that makes you see things BEFORE you take the drugs!! It's gonna eventually be about 150 CD's long when I'm done with it, if I live that long!
But, I need to be happy to listen to most of these and, as of about 7 or 8 years ago, "happy" hasn't been a part of my lexicon! I've got the feeling I'm not allowed to be happy! It happens so rarely in my life!

HAPPY: The goal is dance or sing to it, so this is one of the songs I'll listen to. A lot of it is also 60's/70's like James Brown and Earth, Wind & Fire
